Akreditasi Rumah Sakit

Peran dan Tugas dari Dewan Pengawas Rumah Sakit

Dewan pengawas rumah sakit memiliki peranan yang penting. Dewan pengawas diperlukan agar rumah sakit dapat menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya dengan baik sesuai dengan standar pelayanan minimal yang telah ditetapkan. Pembinaan dan pengawasan rumah sakit ditujukan untuk memastikan bahwa layanan rumah sakit menomorsatukan keselamatan pasien, memberikan layanan kesehatan yang terjangkau oleh masyarakat, melakukan upaya-upaya demi meningkatkan mutu pelayanan rumah sakit, dan melakukan upaya-upaya demi tercapainya kemandirian rumah sakit.  

Penempatan Ulang Staf Medis dan Pembaharuan Kewenangan Klinis

Rumah sakit menetapkan proses penetapan ulang staf medis dan pembaharuan kewenangan klinis paling sedikit setiap 3 (tiga) tahun. Untuk penetapan kewenangan klinis dilanjutkan dengan atau tanpa modifikasi kewenangan klinis sesuai hasil monitoring dan evaluasi berkelanjutan setiap anggota staf medis

Perubahan Standar Akreditasi terbaru KARS 1 Januari 2018

Ada beberapa perubahan nama bab dalam standar akreditasi rumah sakit versi terbaru 1 Januari 2018, diantaranya adalah:

1. Akses Pelayanan dan Kontinuitas (APK) menjadi Akses ke Rumah Sakit dan Kontinuitas Pelayanan (ARK)

2. Pelayanan Pasien (PP) berubah menjadi Pelayanan Asuhan Pasien (PAP)

3. Manajemen Penggunaan Obat (MPO) berubah menjadi Kefarmasiaan dan Penggunaan Obat (PKPO)

Penanganan Pasien yang berisiko jatuh

Pada tahun 2000, total biaya kesehatan yang dihabiskan untuk kejadian jatuh yang fatal sebesar $0,2 miliar dan untuk kejadian cedera akibat jatuh non-fatal sebesar $19 miliar. Diperkirakan pada tahun 2020, biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk kejadian cedera akibat jatuh dapat mencapai $32,4 miliar. Pada tingkat rumah sakit, rerata tingkat insidensi tahunan sekitar 1,4 kejadian jatuh per-tempat tidur pertahunnya.

Promosi Kesehatan Rumah Sakit (PKRS)

Pembangunan Kesehatan diarahkan untuk meningkatkankesadaran, kemauan, dan kemampuan hidup sehat bagi setiap orang agar peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya dapat terwujud. Pembangunan kesehatan diselenggarakan dengan berdasarkan pada perikemanusiaan, pemberdayaan dan kemandirian, adil dan merata,serta pengutamaan dan manfaat dengan perhatian khusus pada penduduk rentan, anatar lain ibu, bayi, anak, lanjut usia (lansia), dan keluarga miskin.
