Contoh Prosedur Pembersihan Tumpahan darah atau Cairan Tubuh pasien di lantai

⦁    Jika volume tumpahan darah/cairan tubuh diameter < sampai dengan 10 cm :
1.    Gunakan alat pelindung diri : sarung tangan
2.    Lap tumpahan darah/cairan tersebut dengan tissue kertas untuk menyerap darah/cairan tubuh yang tumpah
3.    Buang lap bekas tersebut ke dalam plastik kuning
4.    Bersihkan area tumpahan dengan sabun/deterjen menggunakan kain majun sekali pakai
5.    Lap area tersebut dengan larutan khlorin/ sodium hipoklorit dan biarkan mengering. 
6.    Lepas APD
7.    Cuci tangan

⦁    Jika volume tumpahan darah/cairan tubuh diameter > lebih dari 10 cm :
1.    Gunakan alat pelindung diri
2.    Tutup area tumpahan dengan agen penyerap, biarkan hingga menyerap.
3.    Gunakan scraper disposibel dan serok untuk mengambil agen penyerap ataupun sisa darah maupun tumpahan cairan tubuh 
4.    Tempatkan semua agen penyerap ke dalam plastik kuning untuk dibuang
5.    Buang material tersebut
6.    Pel lantai area tumpahan dengan sabun/larutan deterjen
7.    Lap dengan sodium hipoklorit dan biarkan mengering
8.    Lepaskan APD
9.    Lakukan cuci tangan
